We have a lot of very young, talented children who have either come up from my PETS program or have been coached since the age of 4 years and can certainly serve and maintain a rally on a "full court". I know this would really improve their tennis. This may be of interest to my lovely parents out there who have these talented little players. John was playing fixtures, from the age of 4 on a full court and using an adult racquet. You could not see him on the other side of the net. He is now 21, ranked 244 in the world, is playing this week in the Wimbledon Qualies and has a Commerce Degree, UQ, deferred. Some little children at this centre remind me of John!

SQUADS - A message from Bao
Did you know that participating in a squad will a) see a child's skills inprove quicker than in a group lesson, b) Prepare a child for his/her School Tennis, Super League or Tournaments.
Bao Tran and Rob Smeets are our two top coaches that train our squads. Bao is level 2; goes home regularly to train the Vietnamese team, does private coaching and gives his own time voluntarily in the local villages.
Rob Smeets, lowest world ranking 140, member of the Davis Cup Team, recently retired from the Professional Circuit (to marry our eldest daughter Shona in November)

PETS
Mothers can have the choice of playing tennis while their children are engaged in valuable learning. Children participate in a Perceptual Movement Program combined with Modified Tennis and are taught by a qualified Physical Educational Teacher. Over the year's program, I see a wonderful improvement in their Physical Skills, as well as knowing how to hit a ball on either side, volley and serve. I have Grade 1 / 2's who can now play on a full court. Pets in son Thursday and Fridays 9;30am - 11;30 / 2 hr @ $25 child only, or $34.50 for mother and child.
For Term 4
I have decided to run my PETS on Saturday mornings providing I can generate enough interest. The classes will be for the children only, in 1 hour blocks @ $20 beginning at 8:00am. There will be a max of 8 per lesson. My daughter Bronte who is number one player and captain of tennis at Brisbane Girls Grammar School will be an aide for my lesson.
I would love to her from you if you're interested in joining this exciting new morning. Phone Shona 33987976
